Seth Shipley Shipley's Diamonds and Fine Jewelry

Seth began in the jewelry industry in 1986 in Alabama after serving in the US Air Force. He bought his first jewelry store in 1987, sold it in 1989 and moved back to Maryland, where he put his jeweler’s bench in his parent’s basement. In the early 1990’s, he opened a store on Main Street in Hampstead and incorporated as Jewelers Bench Inc. In 1998 he purchased a building just up the street on Main Street. In 1999 he opened up his doors in the recently renovated building and it is the same building that the store operates from today.
